I’m still riding high after Blogalicious despite being back at the day job this week. At the conference I got to connect with some of my blogger firends. A few who I did not know were keeping up with my journey to being a Single Mother By Choice asked me how it was going. It was nice to know that people are following even if they are not commenting. I thought really hard about weather I wanted to share this journey on the blog. At the end of the day Chasing Joy is about trying to create the life you always wanted. For me that includes motherhood . So I will continue to share this part of my Joy Journey.

Can you believe I have been on this trying to concieve journey for over 6 months. I just new I would be pregnant by now. I did not realize that the path to motherhood is a winding road not a straight path. Any advice for navigating this journey is appreciated. Share in the comments 🙂

Thinking of you, sometimes life is winding path for sure. Good luck and I look forward to updates.

It's always good to know you have support and people following your journey… a bonus of course is to hear from all of those people but try to imagine the entire world behind you and rooting for you. Best of luck as you continue on this journey… it is winding road and not a straight path, which is not always easy.

I wish you lots of luck! My advice is the same that I gave to someone very dear to me many years ago, who is now a mom of three – and a mother – in- law. You need to relax , if you enjoy a cocktail, have more than one, have a lovely romantic weekend and forget about the end goal:)

I am actually in the opposite boat, I know I do not want to have children so I am careful NOT to conceive. I have had many friends who have battled fertility and conception issues, it's not an easy path, but I pray that yours is rewarded and your year ends with a new blessing on the way!

I wish you good luck on your goal. I have only known a few people who've tried this method and the path is a "hurry up and wait" style. Two ended up with a successful pregnancy and the other couple ended up adopting a baby. Both procedures took years, but they all agree it was worth it. And the couple that adopted?: She got pregnant just a month later. The doctors thought perhaps it was due to less stress,
