I Have A Dream. Let Martin Luther King Jr. inspire you to define and go for your own dreams.
Happy Martin Luther King Day.  As we all know he is said, “I have a dream.”  He had a big dream. A dream for his country, my country, the United States.  We know
all about his dream because he did everything he could to achieve it.  He preached about it, marched for it,
protested for it, was jailed for it, gave speeches about it, and was killed because of it.
Dr. King was an inspiration for many obvious reasons.  In addition to those obvious reasons Martin Luther King is an inspiration to me because he put his all into creating the life he wanted.  A life where he and people who
looked like him would be seen as equals.  The things that he did in pursuit of that life were not easy but they
were worth it.
I have a dream too. A lot of dreams actually that all come together to form the Joyful life that I am creating for myself.  Am I working as hard on my dreams as Dr. King worked on his?  Am I making sacrifices
for my dreams? Am I talking about my dreams and working towards my dreams? Am I really
doing all that I can to achieve those dreams? Do I even have clarity on what these dreams are?
You have dreams too.  Dreams to create the kind of joyful life for yourself that only you can envision.  I ask you the same questions that I am asking myself.  Do you have clarity on what your dreams are? Are you putting your all into making those dreams come true?
My Challenge to you is to write “I have a dream” and then  write out all of your dreams that make up the joyful life you want.  I am going to do the same.

  7. I want to write out all of my dreams too! They work like a visionboard if you write it down it will manifest! The power of the written word!

  15. I was just telling my husband last night that MLK not only created a movement for African Americans but for all minorities. What a Godly, amazing, strong man. He is such a wonderful man and I'm glad we have a day dedicated to him.

  17. Love this idea. When I was in college I used to write my goals down and post them on the wall in front of my desk with the start of every semester. No reason I can't do something like that now!

  18. MLK is an inspiration to many – as he should be. I have dreams just like everyone else. Over the last few months, those dreams have shifted. All for the best.

  20. MLK is definitely an inspiration. We should all work tirelessly in search of our own dreams. I will have to list mine out and create an action plan.

  21. I did not have clairty until I turned around 32 then I started to get it and my dreams were always there I just had to find a way to make it work

  22. Writing down all of your dreams is an excellent idea! My dreams include financial stability, property ownership, and job security! 😀

  24. What a novel idea. It's always good to write things down so as to have a clearer picture of our dreams. I will work on mine :-).
