Last week I told you about meeting with some Choice Moms from Philly. These are women who, like me, decided to have a baby on their own. I shared with them where I was in the process. I told them that I am trying to conceive with donor sperm. I told them that I was doing IUIs un-medicated (so far) but that it had not worked yet. It was nice confiding in these women who had been exactly where I am not that long ago. Knowing they knew how I felt made it even more comforting when they reassured me that almost all women who begin this path end up becoming mothers. Sometimes it happens quickly. Sometimes it takes multiple attempts, IVF, Donor Eggs, Surrogacy or adoption. But for those that want to be mothers there is almost always a baby at the end of the process.
I’m open to all advice for making my baby quicker. Did you do an IUI? Did you eat any special foods or do any special yoga moves when you were trying to conceive?

I heard everything and tried somethings. Avocado. Whole pineapple. No exercise after procedures. Sleeping with socks after procedures. Staying warm staying cool.
No alcohol of course.
