SMC Trying To Conceive Tag
This week’s baby making update isn’t really an update. It’s actually a tag. Those of you who are bloggers or are YouTubers already know what a tag is. But for everyone else and let me explain. A tag is a list of questions that you answer on your blog or your video blog / YouTube channel. It’s called a tag because you tag fellow bloggers or YouTubers to answer the same questions.
Those following my baby making journey know that the last few weeks have been a bit of a lull. My last embryo transfer was not successful so I decided to go to Cuba and take a teeny TTC (trying to conceive) break. After returning from Cuba I have had to wait a several weeks to do Zika blood-work. After it is confirmed that I am Zika free, I will be given the okay to have another frozen embryo transfer.
During this time while I’ve been waiting I did the ERA test which you guys saw a couple videos ago. Now I’m just letting a few weeks go by while I:
1. wait on the ERA test results and
2. do my Zika blood work and wait on those test results.
Once all the waiting is done and the test results are in I’ll be ready to update you guys with my next steps in terms of my next frozen embryo transfer, what I plan to do different next time, and the overall plan based off of my ERA results.
In the meantime, I wanted to keep the TTC, baby making, Single Mother by Choice journey updates current by doing a fun single mother by choice TTC tagged. Basically I’m answering a bunch of questions about trying to conceive, infertility, and preparing to one day be a mom. No one tagged me to do this tag. I created it myself using some traditional TTC tags and adapting them to fit a Single Mother by Choice journey.
I hope you guys find the questions and my answers interesting. It will be fun, after I become a mom, to look back on my thoughts during this time and see how differently I feel about things and/or see how different things turned out.
Check out the video below to see how I answer 20 + questions about trying to conceive to become an SMC.
Bonus if you want to follow some other women who are on their own journeys to become SMCs watch through to the end of the video where I tagged a few of my fellow Single Mother by Choice TTC YouTubers to join me in the tag.
