Yesterday was World Kindness Day. Did you realize it? Did you observe it by performing a random act of kindness?
I almost missed it. I heard about the day earlier in the week and put it on my calendar. But I was halfway through the day by the time I actually looked at the calendar. Luckily it’s never too late to be kind.
So here is what I decided to do. At Blogalicious I meet with the fine folks from Hallmark. We exchanged some contact info and a few weeks later I received these funny greeting cards in the mail. In honor of Kindness Day I will be sending them to three unsuspecting friends. It is fun to get something in the mail that isn’t a credit card offer or some sort of bill. The goal is to put a smile on their faces.
What did you do for Kindness Day? Were you lucky recipient of a random act of kindness?

I had no idea there was a World Kindness Day! I love doing random acts of kindness. That's awesome!
I never heard of Kindness Day but it sounds like a cool concept. Even though we should focus on being kind all the time, having a day where you recognize it I think helps as well.
Wow, this is a day we NEED right now. Our city in Canada has been pretty awful for negativity and nasty people. The whole world needs a kindness day right now. – Jeanine
I haven't done blogalicious yet but they are on my radar, I try to do one conference every year I try to make it a new one each time so I can a bigger scope of different experience, this one and iretreat are my top two contenders for 2016. I have had penpals since childhood so I definitely appreciate the joy of something in the mail that is NOT a bill! LOL 🙂

I did not know it was National Kindness Day. Last night, my husband and I donated to a local charity for Christmas gifts for needy children.
I had no idea this day existed. It's certainly one that deserves to be observed! The unexpected cards are a good idea.
I did not know there was a World Kindness Day but we should be practicing kindness daily (so I'm glad there is a dedicated day for it).
Kindness should be everyday, but it is nice that there is a day set aside to focus on kindness

So clearly I'm late to the game. But it's never too late to be kind, and I aim to do that on a daily basis. I love the greeting card idea, such a nice touch.
I'm mad I missed it. I need to put it on my calendar so I can plan out activities. I would love to show up and surprise some random folks.
I didn't know that it was World Kindness Day! I'm sure I did some random act of kindness, and that someone did the same for me, because I actually experience it and try to be kind at all times. Sending your friends those cards was a great idea!

I love the idea of world kindness day. I thin it is so important to be kind and a day to celebrate kindness makes me happy.

My son got into this, this year. He was all about being kind for one day. lol
I had no idea there was even a World Kindness Day but I feel that I was kind to quite a few people because that's just who I am. Now I have it penciled on my calendar for next year!
I did not know that it was World Kindness Day. Now I feel bad because I was sick, and not very nice to my coworkers. I'll have to make it up to them lol.
These will be such a fun surprise for your friends. I think surprises like those can really brighten your day.

What a wonderful way to help people remember to be kind! Sure it starts out as just a day, but then it reminds people to be kind every day!
World Kindness Day is a great idea. I try to honor it by making every day a day to be kind.

I had actually forgotten it was World Kindness Day on this past Friday until I saw people on Facebook talking about it! I love the cards you picked out, I bet your friends will get a kick out of them.

I didn't know it was world kindness day! You are right, we can be kind any day. I think I will get a card for my neighbor whose dog recent died :-/
