I need your advice. Leadership advice.
Normally I write blog post to share my advice and expertice on finding and maintaining happiness. Today I am flipping the script. This week I was offered and accepted a promotion to a supervisory position. I am excited and nervous. I need your help.
I have been working towards this promotion at the day job for a while. I’m talking years. Yet, I was still shocked when I received the offer. I don’t know when I will start but I know it will be soon. Part of me is wondering what have I gotten myself into.
So, I need your advice right away. I need your best leadership advice. Luckily I know I have natural leadership skills. I have fallen into leadership roles throughout my adult life withouteven trying. Now is the time where I need to be intentional about this.
What tips, dos, and don’ts can you share when it comes to managing people? I welcome advice from both the manager and the employee perspective. Help me to become a Joyful Supervisor.
