Happy Friday Joy Chasers!!! TGIF!! Yay! This weeks flashback is right on time. I just attended my book club this week and this weeks Flashback The Book of Joy is about the joy I get from reading and books. Have you read any good books lately????
And now about the Flashback. Flashback Friday it is where we Flashback to our older blog posts and linkup. You can also post a link to your Flashback post on the Chasing Joy Facebook Page. Flashback Friday is a great way to rediscover our earlier works and discover some new blogs. So pick your link and add it below. Use hashtags #FBF or #FlashbackFriday on twitter to advertise your Flashback post.
Now add your link below but be sure to check out AT LEAST TWO other Flashback posts. Might I suggest the ones listed before and after your post. Please leave a comment saying why you selected your Flashback post and what you thought about the other Flashback posts. I’m looking forward to reading all of your Flashbacks.
Don’t forget to grab the new I am Chasing Joy and Flashback Friday buttons! Oh and make sure you come back tomorrow to catch a guest post from our Weekend Guest.

My post is about my Good reads challenge for 2011, where I set out to read 20 books.

I posted about a tweet someone sent on twitter that was a wake up call for me. It was just a few words that encouraged me to take joy in peace of mind.

My blog is a hodgepodge of hodgepodglian stuff. This old post is about the proverbial 'money tree'.
Speaking of proverbialisms; I started a 217 post commitment to comment on each and every verse in Proverbs. I do about 4 or 5 every day of the 7 months that have 31 days. Stop by for a look into Solomon's wisdom!

My post is about online versus offline diaries and whether any other bloggers keep offline journals, or if you do all your diary writing in digital form nowadays.

p.s. I added one of your Chasing Joy badges to my post this time – finally remembered!

I chose this post because how we nourish our bodies is important and many people have some type of eating/body issue. This gives an alternative way to look at it and how to heal.

YAY! Another FBF 😀 Can't wait to catch up with everyone's writing. This week I am linking up to a Twitter Post in honor of bringing back my Twitter Series to Youtube. It is all about how we can find people we want to follow.

I posted this piece because I feel that many need a reminder of how to fight the battle of negativity! As always I love being here and I will get to commenting on the other wonderful blogs at lunchtime!

OK, so no one is behind me yet so I tried the link above me and it didn't work 🙁 so then I went to the one above that and randomly picked another… so funny! I picked two places that were talking about food and here I sit with only coffee in my belly! Caroline wrote about The Melting Pot which I love and was familiar with; YUM Chocolate fondue!! And Chelle wrote about a place called the Redneck Steak house … now I need to get some breakfast!!!

I have been on a search for the MOST JOYOUS spots on the web and was delighted to find your spot! I also LOVE your Friday Flashback idea. I do a Saturday blog party each week where I do something similar!
I shared my 7 things that bring me Joy post to help you get to know me a bit better, since this is my first visit here. It will not be my last! I'm off to read some of the other posts!

Thanks, Joy, for your gentle reminders on Twitter. This was the perfect way to get in gear this Friday morning while I finished up my (first) cup of coffee.
I enjoyed visiting Chelle's blog and reading her important post speaking up in defense of Girl Scouts (who you wouldn't think are in need of defending, but they are – see her post).
I stopped by my friend Victoria's site, It's Great to Be, because she always has something inspirational to say and I was not disappointed. In fact I was delighted when I saw that she has USA Love List on her favorite blog list… Aw! Thanks! Her You Tube channel is also worth subscribing to if you still have some coffee to kill.
Finally, I enjoyed checking out Bits of Bee for the first time and found a nicely designed, uncluttered site with some peaceful, well-written reflections on motherhood. Ahhh… just what I love in a mommy blog. Lovely.
Thanks again, Joy – I'll stop back later in the day to see who else linked up! -Sarah

I posted the one I meant to post last week. I'm new at this, so I thought I should introduce myself. 🙂 I can't wait to read some of these other blots! Have a great weekend!

I choose my post because that Monday was actually a fun, relaxing day. Especially for a Monday.
I was starting to think I'd missed something and we were suppose to pick a post about reading. Lol
Have a great weekend everyone!
