Sorry I’m late Joy Chasers. Yesterday was Thanksgiving so I did not get the Flashback Friday post up last night. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving! I did. I cooked for my mom, brother, nieces, and nephews. There was 7of us all together. Good Food and Good Company.
After dinner my mom and I decided to go see what the stores were like. We have never done Black Friday shopping before. Since Walmart was opening at10 we decided to go and see what the hype was all about. We got to Walmart after 11. The store had been open for over an hour and the line was still at least a thousand people deep. So we never even got out of the car. We drove past shaking our heads in amazement.
Then we decided to drive up the road a bit and see how bad it was at Target. Target opened at Midnight. We got there around 11:30 and the line was several hundred deep. Better than at Walmart. We decided to stay in the car to see if people would run in when they opened the doors. 30 minutes later they opened the doors but let people in in groups of about 20 people every 90 seconds. There was no stampede and the line moved pretty quick. So, we decided to get in line to. We only had to wait about 20 minutes and we were in too. It was very organized and not crazy inside. No fighting or pushing. We only got a couple of things because we were there out of curiosity more so than looking for big deals on electronics or toys. It was fun and we were home by 3 am.
So a Thanksgiving feast and Black Friday outing distracted me from your Flashback Friday Linky. But, it is up now. Better late than never. I hope you will take some time between or after your Black Friday shopping and link up for the Flashback. Flashback Friday is where we Flashback to our older posts and linkup here. We also post a link to our Flashback post on the Chasing Joy Facebook Page. It is a great way to rediscover our earlier work and discover some new blogs.
Be sure to check out AT LEAST TWO other Flashback posts. I suggest the one listed before and after your post. Please leave a comment saying why you selected your Flashback post and what you thought about the other Flashback posts. I’m looking forward to reading all of your Flashbacks.
This week I am linking up to my post Random Thoughts – Image. In this post I talk about some of the things that make me feel good.
Don’t forget to grab the I am Chasing Joy button.
How was your Thanksgiving? Did you brave the Black Friday crowds???

Allison, I'm glad you got the Thanksgiving you needed. Happy Holidays!

Thanksgiving was very quiet and restful. Lord knows I needed that after the last two weeks! LOL. And no, I did not even go close to a store. I did get a good bargain online at Target, however. Does that count? LOL.
The flashback post that I linked up was written when I was really debating (with myself) my motives for blogging.
