Happy New Year Everyone! I know this is not my first post this year, but it is my first Best of the Blogosphere for 2012. January went by really fast and I read a lot of great posts especially from those who shared their blog posts during the #commenthour twitter party and #FlashbackFriday link ups. There are a few that I especially enjoyed. On these few I bestow the title of Best of the Blogosphere (BoB) January.
In no particular order, here are the best posts I came across this month:
• Caroline shares a big announcement that inspires us to get up and get going in her post A Big Announcement. I am looking forward to keeping up with her Journey
• Riverand takes us back in time to one of the most tragic events in US history in her post Lost After Launching. Only we experience this emotional as a mystery viewed through the eyes of a child.
• Amanda offers practical advise in her usually witty way in her post Seeking A Sitter, How to Find Reliable Childcare. Her 5 tips sound pretty on point to me.
• I really really loved this post Father’s Be Good To Your Daughters by Gina of Faith Promise Blog. Having been blessed with the best dad ever I loved reading a post encouraging other dad’s to step up to the plate and build beautiful relationships with their daughters.
• This post by Terra on How Not to Give a Cat a Bath had my cracking up. It also confirmed that my decision on how to groom my ageing cat is on point. Sponge bath it is.
Check out some or all of these BoB post and then stop by Cookie’s Chronicles to see who she picked for her January BoB blog hop.
My favorite of my own January posts is Wonderfully Made to Chase Joy.This post reveals my word of the year and sets a positive, comforting, and faith based tone for the blog for 2012.
Tell me, what was your favorite post you wrote this month and what post(s) did you come across in January that represent the Best of the Blogosphere???
Oh and join the Linky.

I am still recovering from reading Lost After Launching by @riverand. I will think about what my favorite post is for January and I have discovered so many wonderful blogs over the last month I don't know even where to begin. Of course yours is one of my favorites! 😀
Peace,
Morgan

I love the round up and oh em gee that's why our cats get wipe downs and not full on baths. I laughed so hard I cried.

What a grand idea: a best of round up…. now, to narrow it down!

I liked how to not to give a cat bath – it was so funny! I also liked the recent post over on Life is Hard, Laugh Anyway titled "Why treating your family like strangers can be a good thing." Very thought provoking.
