Today I came across this article, Bible App Hits 10 Million Downloads,
on CNN. Feeling spiritually connected to something bigger than yourself
(I call it God) can be a great source of Joy. Having spiritual beliefs
give me hope and optimism because I know God has and will continue to
bless me. The Bible is filled with stories of people over coming all
sorts of obstacles and can therefore serve as a source of inspiration.
It serves as a moral compass that helps to keep us civilized. So today
I am feeling very good that in addition to having instant access to
facebook, twitter, you tube, the weather, sports scores, games, email,
and music via our cell phones. We can also have instant access to the
Bible, a definite road map assisting me in Chasing Joy. Yes, there is an
app for that.
