Happy Friday!!! It’s time for a Baby Making Update!
Before my Single Mother By Choice Q & A collaboration videos, on my last true baby making update, I told you guys I had some good news. The endocrinologist gave me the good news that my thyroid numbers were back in check and she was OK with me trying to conceive again. After that I met with the RE (fertility doctor) who also gave me the OK to proceed. It’s official I can try for baby once again!!!! But, before I can start analyzing my temperatures and taking meds, before I ovulate, I have to make a decision. So what’s the plan going to be, IUI or IVF? Who would have thought that creating the life I want for myself would involve so much medical intervention.

I am unable to have kids and I have decided at my age that I would not do fertility treatments. I applaud you for the choices you are making.
What a journey. Its always been easy for me to get pregnant (hello 6 kiddos) but we recently decided for #7 and it took much longer than expected, then ended in a miscarriage in July. We were talking IUI a few weeks after the miscarriage because we both wanted *just one more* and we feared the worst. I would rather IVF, but if you aren't a candidate for that right now, then I'd be going for IUI too. I'm very hopeful for you and know you will be such a great mom! – Jeanine

I can't imagine having to make such a hard decision. I am truly thankful that I was able to give her life twice without any issues. I think we as women sometimes take that for granted. All the best to you on your journey.

I went through IVF twice… ufda… all that stuff is hard on body. I am rooting for you and hoping this cycle is the magic one!
If it's truly the life you want then you'll do whatever it takes to get it. If you aren't willing to do the hard stuff then you have to check yourself and make sure it's really what you want.

Glad you got your thyroid back in check! That can cause problems for anyone, much less someone trying to conceive! it's such a pesky organ.
