We are reinventing Mondays. We are not facing them with dread. We are facing them with optimism and pro-activity. We are setting goals that will allow us to have a Joy filled week and Making it Happen.
Here are my goals for this week:
Work: Get my emails under control, submit 3 things for my supervisor to review, and get caught up on the things I review for others.
Health: Not have carbs after 8:00pm and have some raw veggies daily
Personal: Schedule blood work and surgery for my dog. Formalize plans for Larchwood Reunion (if you are alumni please check out the invite and join us). Put together my kitchen chairs from IKEA.
Devil’s workshop goals: Research Volunteer opportunities.
We all know what to do, Avoid coming down with A Case of the Mondays, Beware Joy Thieves, focus on your goals and Make it Happen and have a Great Joyous week.
What are your goals for a Joy filled week??? Commit to them by putting them in writing here.

I think setting goals is so important both long and short term, I've found that it keeps me on track. This week I'm with Alison on this one, I've got a lot on this week so it's imperative that I get to bed earlier and manage my time well, to ensure I'm alert and on the ball.

I like your idea of weekly goals. I tend to be more of a daily goal person, but a longer-term perspective is very useful too. My goals this week are to get to work earlier, go to bed earlier, and be intentional about getting some relaxation into my schedule.

It's a great idea to make note of your goals weekly — it's something that I really need to start doing myself. Mondays really should be a celebration of the week to come! 🙂

I like this idea 🙂 I'll have to try next week by starting out by not being late and always on the run.
