Tis the season to be thankful, fa-la-la-la-la, la-la, la, la. That’s how the song goes right?? NO? Oh well. It is the season to be thankful even if that’s not how the song goes. November is when we officially start thinking about the holidays starting with Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving means thankfulness!
I have a challenge for you. My challenge is for you to let thankfulness be in the forefront of your mind all month long. Not just on thanksgiving. Thankfulness / gratitude is one of the easiest ways to start experiencing more joy. When you focus on what is going right in your life you start to notice more and more things. You start to notice that more often than not more things are going right than going wrong or at least more things are going right than you thought.
To give you a little incentive to really focus on gratitude and thankfulness I am offering a prize. In the Chasing Joy’s Joy Chaser FB group we have a thread to count all of our gratitudes this month. On Thanksgiving I will be selecting one of the thankfulness comments with the help of Random.org to win a Chasing Joy prize pack including a $10 coffee shop gift card. So join the Facebook Group and start listing what you are thankful for there.
So, do you accept the challenge? Can you think of something that you are thankful for every day this month? Will you join us in the Facebook group so you can enter to will $10.
P.S. This post counts for NaBloPoMo!!!

Our church is focusing on generosity this month – for the adults and children. We've given away a lot to the needy – which is a reminder of how well we have things even when we think we need more.

A great idea and challenge. Every day there should be several things to be thankful… today I am thankful for summer temps on a fall day. Around 70 and no snow yet in MN.. Yahoo!
