Life is hard. Not getting pregnant easily is hard. Going through fertility treatments is hard. Dealing with your fertility acupuncturist shouldn’t be. That’s why I think I am going to fire my fertility acupuncturist.
On this blog I write about ways to have a Joyful life. Part of that is having healthy relationships. Sometimes we have to cut or limit some relationships. I think I have reached that point with my fertility acupuncturist. She was starting to become a Joy Thief. In short I need everyone around me to be team positive when it comes to this fertility and Single Mother By Choice Journey. The acupuncturist did not seem to be part of the team. Having walked along the infertility path and finally, thankfully, conceived 7 years ago I know how important it is to have positive uplifting people and relationships around you. Do what feels right for you and look forward with positivity and hope. I wish you so so much luck x

I agree with your decision to fire her. As you said, you need people in your life who are going to be supportive and encouraging during this very difficult process. It’s ironic that she is giving-off negative energy when the whole point of acupuncture is to balance energy.
It is ironic isn’t it. I think she meant well and thought she was helping me. But I need positivity and hope.
