I am on my way to read the seven posts ahead of mine. I really enjoy Flashback Friday and linked it on my blog because I have read so many things by so many people I never would have "met" otherwise. This is such a great idea!
I choose this post because it helped me realize that I am not crazy its August that makes me crazy. I am feeling the same way now that I did a year ago.
This week one of my dear friend's Nubian Bride blessed my blog with a guest post. I'm hoping to convince her to take her writing to be a permanent home on My Pocketful of Thoughts.
In response to the recent murders of the youth in the city we live in she wrote a very beautiful letter as a mom to her son. How appropriate to fit into today's FBF. I hope that you guys will show her some love and give her some encouragement to let this not be her only piece.
