Before you head over to Facebook or #FanPageFriday let’s talk about what I did for the Pinterest Project this week. The Pinterest Project is a year long project where I will bring a Pin to life. Every week for 2015 I will take at least one pin and attempt to include it in my real life. This week I tried three pins; two recipes pins and one fitness pin.
The recipe pins were for Strawberries Dipped in Greek Yogurt and Lemon Butter Chicken. The berries in yogurt was definitely a Pinterest fail. The Greek yogurt was too thick to coat the berries without making a mess. Then when the froze the strawberries were too hard to bite into. When they thawed the yogurt made a mess on your fingers. The Lemon Butter Chicken was fantastic. Not as hard as I thought and way tastier. I will be making it again. Pinterest Win!!!
The fitness pin is actually more like a one week health guide with exercises or each day and some food and relaxation recommendations. Now I did not stick with this Pin the whole week but I’ll still label it a win. It got me moving more and I had a salad for dinner one night when I would not normally have had it. I will revisit this pin again. Pinterst win!
