This year marks 14 years of my Christmas ornament tradition. When I purchased my first Christmas tree, the Christmas after buying my first home, I started the tradition. After discovering how expensive the fancy Christmas ornaments are, I decided to only buy one each year. This has allowed me to slowly build up a great collection of beautiful ornaments that stand out among the traditional round balls.
Each year I have picked something that represented what happened during the year, something that mtched my personality, or something that I just thought was beautiful. Some years it would take a while to find the perfect ornament. This year it was super easy. When I saw it I knew I had to have it. I matched perfectly with the biggest thing that happened to me in 2019.
