Like with any important task before you get started you have to do some prep. Well trying to conceive via IVF is no different. I have been preparing for IVF since I decided on this treatment. Now that it is almost time for me to begin the treatment I am preparing for IVF with Estrogen Priming. So what is Estrogen Priming? It is when you take estrogen the cycle before your IVF cycle. My doctor said women who may not have as many eggs tend to have a better response to the IVF drugs if they were on estrogen the cycle before. My doctor decide on this protocol back when we thought my eggs were 40. Even though my tests improved she thought it was still the right protocol for me.
