Disappointment while trying to conceive is rough. This trying to conceive process is not for wimps. It is a hard and even sobering experience. To expect to be a parent your whole life, to spend years trying to avoid it before you are ready, only to have negative test after negative test once you finally decide now is the time to be a mom is heartbreaking. But we have to keep going. Just like any other disappointment in life you have to pick yourself up and keep pressing forward trying to create a joyful life for yourself. Feel the pain. Read the book Instant Mom by Nia Vardalos. She tried IVF 13 times then decided to adopt. She has been a great advocate.

I will look into the book. Yes I am an aunt. My brother has a whole troop of kids. But we are a blended family. My child will be my mom's first biological grandchild.
Being an aunt has only reinforced how much I want ot have my own babies 🙂
