Goals! We all have them! They give us something to work towards. They help give our lives purpose and structure. Working towards them helps us to feel accomplished. Accomplishing goals helps us to feel Joy. Therefore, it is important to keep your goals front and center.
There are many ways to keep your goals front and center. Creating a Vision Boards is a popular way to do it. Having accountability partners is another way to do it that also ties in getting support from others. Those are great ways to do it but I have another really simple way to start keeping your goals front and center. This is good for those who are visual and who like making images on their smart phones.
Before I show you let me remind you that our goals should be SMART. (LEARN ABOUT SMART GOALS!) The M in SMART stands for measurable. My most important goals right now are related to my health, fitness, and fertility (Me and my ovaries are not the same age!). They are measurable goals. I like numbers and data. So I took those numbers that represent the measurable aspect of my goals and I created a pretty image on my Smart phone. Then I set an alarm to go off a few times a day reminding me to look at my pretty image and focus on my goals.
Here it is.
Simple! Right? Easy! Right?
So what really simple things can you do to keep your goals front and center? How can you use the tools at your disposal to keep you focused?

Funny, one of my quality improvement projects was on SMART Goals. We are in the same predicament regarding fertility. We are dealing with secondary infertility. It’s been a struggle, but I can relate to you. Good luck

My goals for 2017 are bigger than ever, I will be sure to keep them in view. In several places, I’m going to have a better game plan. I’m going to start it in 2016.

Smart goals are super important! I set blog goals every month. I haven’t done a vision board in a while though. It’s a great visual of goals.

My favorite saying is that what can be measured can be improved. My husband just asked me about setting goals last night and I brushed it off. Guess I’d better get back on track!

Great idea, I try to make a vision board each school year so that my girls and I will be able to hone in on what I want them to learn. This is a great reminder for me to do one for my business as well.

I agree! I love the vision board project. I normally have parties and invite friends but I let July get away from me with having one for mid-year! Thanks!

Good idea. My best reminder is my vision board that I keep in my guest room. It helps to keep me focused.

Vision boards really do work! I’ve seen so many great things happen to the friends who have created and focused on them. I’ve even seen some results from my own vision board this year. Keep pushing toward your goals!
