No one keeps it real with you like your mom. (Except maybe your sister or your husband. But I don’t have either, so I don’t know). Today I was listening to some YouTube videos on The Law of Attraction and my mom says they are talking to you Arlett. You never say anything positive!
She was referring to my comments about dates I’ve gone on. When I thought about my most recent date and the way I talked about it after I had to admit that she is basically right. I say basically because I did say that it was a good date, however, I did go into more detail about the things that I found concerning than the things I enjoyed. I am spending more time thinking about what I don’t like than what I do. That is the complete opposite of the principles of The Law of Attraction.
While I am really good at helping others focus on the positive I see I have much room to improve when it comes to focusing on the positive myself. This confirms that the Law of Attraction is definitely the right topic for the #CJBL Brunch in August. I can’t wait to get some tips from the ladies of S.H.A.R.E on how to shift my dating focus to the positive. Luckily, I don’t have to wait until August to get some feedback. Tonight I will be hosting a twitter chat withYaritza, of S.H.A.R.E, to get the #CJBL Law of Attraction conversation started early. Join us at 8pm Est.
Are your thoughts more negative or positive? Has anyone ever surprised you with an unexpected observation about your personality? Will you be joining me on the twitter chat?
