Happy Friday! Friday means it’s time for a baby making update. Well, there really is not much to report this week. Last week you saw me get IUI #3. It got off to a bumpy start and then the donor’s sperm count was low. SMH.
Rather than bore you with all of my crazy thoughts during the two week wait from the time I got the IUI until I find out the results, I will share with you something else that I am doing to prepare myself for pregnancy.
A few weeks ago I joined Nutrisystem. This was not my first time trying Nutrisystem. I tried it a few years back and lost over 20 lbs. So, I know that it works. Actually I think almost any diet plan can work if you stick to it. The trick in finding something that you will be able to stick to. What does this have to do with baby making you ask? Well, having extra weight is unhealthy in all the ways we know about but it also can cause you to stop ovulating. Luckily I don’t have that problem. Being overweight during pregnancy can lead to pre-eclampsia and gestational diabetes. I don’t want either of those. So while I am trying to conceive I am also trying to lose weight. I am trying to lose weight while trying to conceive with nutrisystem
