I came across this A to Z post on the blog Back to Allen.  I love learning more about the authors of the blogs that I read.  I hope you enjoy learning a little more about me.


A. Attached or Single? Fellas good news I’m single!!! 🙂

B. Best Friend? My mom. I can talk to her about anything. Though, she probably wishes I told her a little less.
C. Cake or pie? Cake

D. Day of choice? The day when I feel completely comfortable with my life as is.  I pray that this day is in the near future.

E. Essential Item? Car and Cell phone.  I like being connected and able to go when an where I want.

F. Favorite color? I like Red and Yellow.  I always feel good wearing Red

G. Gummy bears or worms? Definitely bears, eaten either head first or head last.

H. Home town? Home town = current town, Philadelphia.

I. Favorite Indulgence? Basically all of the things you are not supposed to eat and soda.

J. January or July? July! I don’t like cold weather or shorter daylight hours.

K. Kids? I’d love to have a few.

L. Life isn’t complete without? Love and Laughter

M. Marriage date? Future Best Day Ever.

N. Number of brothers/sisters? 3 Brothers

O. Oranges or Apples? Oranges if they are of the Mandarin variety and already segmented.  Otherwise apples, Granny Smith variety.

P. Phobias? Spiders, flying, loneliness, and  embarrassment

Q. Quotes? I love a good quote.  One of my favorites is from the book The Shack by William P. Young. “Remember this, humans are not defined by their limitations, but by the intentions that I (God) have for them; not by what they seem to be, but by everything it means to be created in my (God’s) image“

R. Reasons to smile? When I get nice comments on the blog, when my cat meets me at the door, when my dog jumps up to give me puppy hugs, spending time with my mom, and memories of my dad.

S. Season of choice? Spring. The flowers are beautiful. The weather is warm but not too hot.  The electric bill is low due to lower heating a net cooling costs. You have the summer to look forward to

U. Unknown fact about me? Hmmmm, what haven’t I written about on this blog?  I am not a fan of going to bed.  Never have been.  I always feel like there are things I could be doing.  However, once I am in bed I hate getting up. Hence on the weekend I stay up late and sleep in as long as I can.  One of my favorite things is waking up without the alarm.

V. Vegetable? I can’t say that I love veggies.  I do eat them though. Mostly salad greens, broccoli, cauliflower, string beans, and spinach.

W. Worst habit? Overeating, worrying, trying to control things that are outside of my control, giving in to fear.

X. X-ray or Ultrasound? I’ve had x-rays when I fractured my ankle and many times at the dentist.  I hope there are only ultrasounds in my future related to having children.

Y. Your favorite food? Fried chicken, baked macaroni and cheese, cake, cookies, sweet potato pie, Pepsi soda and a bunch of other things that you should not eat often.

Z. Zodiac sign? I know nothing about the zodiac other than my own sign which is Pieces.  Oh, this is funny.  I once had a boyfriend  who gave me a book on Leos so that I could “get to know him better”.  LOL

  13. Very cool way to tell us about yourself! I'm not a veggie person either, which is funny because I was a vegetarian for nearly 20 years.
