Chasing Joy at the Philadelphia Chinese Lantern Festival

I do not have my days confused. I know it is Sunday and I normally don’t post on Sundays. However, yesterday I went to the Chinese Lantern Festival and it was awesome. The bad news is it ends today. The good news is you still have a chance to go if you can fit it in today.

I know it is Father’s Day but this could be a great activity if, like me you are not feeling very festive. I lost my dad almost 8 years ago. Since then Father’s Day has been tough. If you are blessed to still have your dad or perhaps a baby daddy that you want to celebrate the Chinese Lantern Festival would make a nice family event. I saw lots of families, plus there was a beer garden.
