You know what that means. Time for the Flashback! #FlashbackFriday is when we link up one of our older posts that needs a little love.
My favorite post from last week’s linky is Yvette’s Losing To Gain. Her blog is about her weight loss journey. I have been going strong with my #100DaysoffFitness Challenge (check out my updates on YouTube) but slacking with the healthy eating Yvette’s blog post about her weight loss journey is just the inspiration I need.
Let’s Flashblack!!! You can link up any post you like, the idea is to link up an older one, and give it new life via the power of the linky. Be sure to visit AT LEAST TWO other links. If you are first to link up be sure to come back and visit some of the later links. You can also share your post on the Chasing Joy Facebook page and tweet about Linky using the #FlashbackFriday Hashtag.
Now Click to Tweet “I just linked up for #FlashbackFriday on @Chasing_Joy! Add your link to find new readers.”
After you add your post to the linky check out what you may have missed this week on Chasing Joy and what I’m linking up this week. This week I wrote about the difference between self-care and selfishness and 9 types of thoughts that steal your Joy. My #FlashbackFriday post this week is HBBBS Part 4. This is Part 4 of the How to Be a Better Blogger Blogalicious Style series that I wrote after attending my 1st Blogalicious Conference.
PS. Don’t forget to enter my Find Joy in the Journey giveaway for a chance to win your own Joy in the Journey Necklace. Enter -> here!
This is a great idea to revisit old posts. I have to go through all my old posts at some point and fix them since my move to WordPress messed a few of them up …
Fun link-up! Old posts need new love 🙂
I always like stopping by your Friday linkup because there are always good blogs to check out.
I love networking. It is essential to the survival of my blog.
i like sharing older posts. this is a great way for new readers
I love reading weight loss posts. I've been on a lose/gain the same 10 lbs for a while. I'd love to lose 35. Ugh.
Older posts deserve love too, so this is a great idea. I'll have to see if I can dig up something fun.
I'm all linked up, and headed off to visit a couple others. Thanks for hosting!
This is such a fun idea for a link! I love a good flashback!
It's always pretty fun to look back and see what you wrote before. Great idea for a hop.
This is a great idea to revisit older posts. I try to do that regularly to see how I could improve them and breathe some new life into them.
You're right. it can be lots and lots of fun looking at older posts!
Don't punish yourself if you didn't eat the healthiest thing one ay. Weight loss is a day by day process with many hills and valleys. Keep up the good work.
Arlett – this is such a GREAT idea! And it's kind of cool for any new followers who have not read any of the "oldies but goodies." Thanks for sharing!

This is a great idea. I'll have to remember this once I have more posts going.
I love this idea! I actually can see how my 'blogging' has improved over the years when I look back!
I totally such at healthy eating AND working out!! But, hopefully next week, I will be starting my workout program and sticking with it!!!
Great idea to re-visit old posts! I should go back and look through some of my old Easter posts.
What a great idea. There are definitely some oldie but goodie posts out there:)
this is a great way to see older posts that you love or may have forgotten, thanks for sharing.
What a great idea. It's fun to look back at older posts and see all the fun you had!
I love looking back at past posts and photos! I think I need a similar 100 days of fitness challenge. Each week differs for me, in terms of exercise vs. healthy eating.
Awesome idea! Older posts can easily get forgotten
This is great idea for a post! Often old posts get forgotten about 🙁
Happy Friday! I'll definitely be checking out Yvette's blog! I love sharing older posts.
This is such a great idea. Especially for those of us who have been blogging for a long time!
I was hoping to see some old photos of yours during a flashback. Those are my favorite part!
me too! especially because there's almost none of my childhood so i love seeing 70s and 80s chidhood pics
Thank you so much for mentioning my blog! I appreciate it! I really enjoy your as well 🙂
What a fun Linky! I will definitely link up on another Friday. I love bringing back old posts for a new audience.
I think it's never a bad idea to revisit some old posts. Sometimes there is some really good stuff buried under there.
What a great idea to bring some older posts back to life!
I think having an accountability partner is key when it comes to weight loss as well as very close food monitoring. I like using an app on my phone to record all my food, water and exercise to ensure I know my intake and can try to improve.
