It has been about three weeks since I gave you guys a baby making update. But I have one for you. Today’s update is three weeks post miscarriage.
If you are new to the blog here’s the deal. I am single over 35 and I have always wanted to be a wife and mother. Since the tick of my biological clock was starting to sound more like a gong I decided to move to Plan B, do things out of order, and become a mom first. I am on a journey to becoming a Single Mother By Choice or Choice mom. I have had several IUI fertility procedures using frozen donor sperm. I did get pregnant in December but I unfortunately had a missed miscarriage. That’s the long and short of it.
Why am I sharing this very personal and private information here? Because Chasing Joy is about creating the life you want, going after your dreams and goals. Being a mom has always been and dream of mine. Pursuing this dream, despite the all of the ups and downs has given me Joy as I have felt closer to making my dream a reality. Plus I am pretty transparent on the blog and it felt dishonest to pursue this huge life goal and not tell you guys all about it.
Now that you are up to speed. Check out my latest baby making update three weeks post miscarriage. Click here > Three Weeks Post Miscarriage Of Pregnancy From Frozen Donor Sperm < if you have trouble with the embedded video.
Thanks very interesting blog!
After a miscarriage, the body heals very quickly. “A woman will generally ovulate two to four weeks after a miscarriage, with a normal menstrual period occurring two weeks after ovulation,” says Dr. Lerner. “She can then start trying to get pregnant right away, if she wants to, with no increased risk of miscarriage.”
Arlett, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. To share your journey with us all is so brave.
Thank you ladies!
Saved as a favorite, I love your blog!
