Yesterday at work I overheard a lady say we were only two weeks away from Thanksgiving. That is just crazy to me. Where has this year gone??? With time moving so quickly I’m glad that we are taking time this month to focus on gratitude. I’ll be counting my blessings for my Thursday NaBloPoMo posts and participating in the November Gratitude Challenge in the Chasing Joy FB Group (feel free to join the group).

I really love the1000 Reasons To Be Joyful, sometimes you get so caught up with life and can get stuck in a rut or feel down, you have to take time to see all the blessings you have to be thankful for.

AWESOME tips/topics. I'm a strong believer in being grateful and practicing gratitude. Sometimes I do slip up though and fall short by not practicing. Shame on me! I'm only human. Gotta do better though and seriously nail in and focus more.

I love number 4! There are always ways to be joyful. A lot of people take things for granted and complain instead of taking time to appreciate all they have. Great post!

Traveling has really led me to have an attitude of gratitude. I visit so many wonderful regions where definitions of wealth vary. Most recently while in Vanuatu, I was told that your wealth was measured not by the amount of material possessions you owned, but by the size of your family. In other regions, the people did not have the material possessions that we covet in the states, but they had gratitude and genuine joy. I am both envious (LOL) and impressed by how people from all walks of life can find joy simply in being.
